To my knowledge, there has never been a proof of the place of origin, the ship on which he imagrated or parents of Hopestill Leyland who landed at Mass. Bay Colony about 1627. Can anyone offer advice or thoughts?

It is a site dedicated to gathering data on the Descendants of HENRY Leland ( Leyland ) who landed in Mass. about 1653.

Since the time when we originally posted this website for descendents of Hopestill and Henry Leyland We have found through DNA testing two eighth cousinsWho conclusively prove that our genealogical records back to Henry Leyland are accurate.
Also, through DNA testing we now have proof of a common town of origin in Lancashire England.
Please join us in conversation regarding this Pilgrim Leyland immigrant Who was The first known in America of the Leyland name.
I am still anxious to find the family of Harry Leland....as he married my grandmother. both had been previously divorced. I know he had a son who nickname was Sunny and Harry was from California.
